Did you know that 50-70% of everyone who sees your ads clicks on your page first to check out who is running that ad before proceeding to buy from you?

Imagine you run an ad for solar installations. I come to your page, and I can’t find anything organic post on your page.

Like your page is naked but you are promising to clothe me?

You must spend time building the integrity of your page with organic content.

As a business owner, one thing you must track all the time is your CPCA

In a lay man’s terminology, Cost Per Customer Acquisition is defined as the amount of money is costs you to acquire one customer.

This I why revenue is a mirage.

Many businesses owners make money but their businesses are not growing.

One of the major reasons is that they are spending so much money acquiring customers.

Imagine using 50k to run an ad and earning 100k in return.

That is far too expensive and unsustainable.

If another person can spend 50k on ads and make 300k, that person has a lesser CPCA and of course a more profitable model.

Some business owners spend hug money registering for conferences and events that they have not mapped out the strategy for getting back their RoI – Return on Investment.

Stop engaging in business activities that cost you money if you are not certain how that activity will bring back the money.

Beyond bringing back the money, it should bring it at a faster rater and higher volume.

Above every other thing you can think of, the greatest approach that lowers your CPCA is building a QUALITY BRAND.

I am not completely happy sharing the information I am about to share.

Why?

1. Only a few are supposed to have access to it

2. It’s not too good for the African economy.

Here is the summary….

If you successfully get the message I want to pass here, it may be your next multi-million breakthrough.

I will share it in the simplest form that even a person who has access to just 100k naira can implement and become a millionaire in a short time.

Of course, you know that The Sales Guru has zero interest in anything called Ponzi.

So, this is not a Ponzi scheme.

Let’s Go….

Jeff Bezos produces zero products but sell all products. Obi Cubana produces zero drinks and sell almost all drinks.

Recently, he went to China, trademark a brand ‘Vaib’ and he has been pushing it into the market.

Most of our billionaires especially from the Igbo extraction do not have factories.

They only have distribution outlets and methods.

My big sister Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze started her egg distribution business last year.

I am guessing she has zero poultry.

She probably does not know how to rear chickens.

But, I am not sure of any poultry owner now that does more numbers than she does.

Netflix owns no production studio when it started.

It only became the biggest platform for distributing movies.

There is no movie maker around the world who does more numbers than Netflix.

NOW TO THE SMALLEST BUSINESS OWNER OUT THERE

📌Let’s take fashion as an example.

Do you know that you can make maad money from tailoring without knowing how to fix a thread 🧵on the 🪡of a machine?

All you have to do is to master the art of distribution.

Go to specialists who sew cloths.

Make a deal with them.

Promise them great volume.

Create a brand for your own and market the h£ll out of it.

Here, you run lower operational costs and risks.

📌BAKING

Oh!

As I was about to do this, I just remembered that someone has done it.

Fastest Cakes…. Go check them out.

They probably have no oven.

They may not even have a single baker.

All they have mastered is distribution.

Guess What?

They are making far much money that the baker who owns oven and all of them.

📌CHOWDECK

They have zero kitchen. They have zero chef.

But, they are the distribution platform for thousands of chefs and kitchens.

Irrespective of the industry you are in, do not immerse yourself so much in the skill aspect that you forget the distribution aspect.

Africa do not have enough infrastructure to power easy productions.

We are optimistic that one day, we will.

But, until then, find a way to make leverage on distribution faster than ownership.

Getting a ‘NO’ from customers or prospects doesn’t mean that you don’t know how to closer.

No matter how good you are, you will get a ‘NO’ once in a while.

Even TERMINATOR gets the beating of his life sometimes.

Prophet Samuel missed a prophecy at a point.

As Almighty as Jesus is, He was beaten and disgraced.

So, why do you want to kill yourself because you’re turned down by a prospect?

The truth is that great sailors emerge from stormy waters.

Let the rejections redirect you.

As long as you can beat your chest and say “I gave my best”, if your best still bring a ‘NO’, go ahead and try more and innovate.

Then, you replied the person with ‘Send a DM.’
Wow!

You’re now the Lord of All Markets.
How dare you transfer your responsibility to the prospect?
Avoid telling prospects to send you a DM.
You are the one to send the DM!

The rule in selling is to remove all purchasing inconveniences from the prospects.
When the person comments INTERESTED OR HOW MUCH, you have to do either or both of the following;

  1. Reply to the comment with the details of how to make such a purchase.
  2. Go to the person’s DM and drop the details for purchasing.

Preferably, do BOTH!

If you don’t have the time to do these, employ someone to do it for you.

But, never shift your responsibility to the prospects/customers.

If you have read the book, ‘Blue Ocean Strategy’ (which I recommend you read), Kim and Reneé found out after years of research that “80% of all innovations in business is the improvement of existing systems.

Only 20% of innovation is bringing something completely new.

Innovation can simply mean you learning how to write better.

It could mean you learning how to communicate better.

Innovation could mean you learning how to send a simple email, use WhatsApp business properly.

It could be learning how better to lead your team.

One thing that leads to innovation is to always acknowledge that it can be better.

I never liked talking to the camera. I was very camera-shy.

I may accept snapping pictures. But, you see video? No be me and you😄

But, I know that for me to make the quality impression that my brand requires, I had to do what I do.

The best thing you must innovate is yourself.

Be open. Embrace change. Learn from all angles.

  • A business owner may sell something to you at a lower price based on friendship or any other reason.
  • If you refer other people based on that price, you have hindered that business owner from negotiating.
  • Also, the price you bought may have changed especially in Nigeria where inflation rises faster than anything.
  • Tell whoever you are referring about the quality of the product and service, and promise him/her that you trust the business owner to give a great deal.
  • Stop making business people lose money.
