About Me
Udochukwu Chikwendu also known as The Sales Guru, is a leading sales and marketing coach and business consultant. He is the convener of SALES MASTERCLASS where he teaches business owners practical strategies for high sales closing.
He had his first degree at Federal University of Technology Owerri, where he studied Environmental Technology and graduated as the top 1% in his class. He has certificates in brand management, sales and marketing ranging from negotiation, sales closing, communication, pitching, etc.
His career spans across education, oil and gas and public sectors. He started his entrepreneurship journey in the education sector because of his strong passion for education. After graduation from college, he founded www.tiptutors.com, a private, academic tutoring firm. He has built this company from scratch until its recent 25-staff strength.
He served as the Head of Operations, Imo State Small and Medium Enterprises Agency, ISMEA where he hosted the 29th edition of the National MSME Clinic chaired by the then Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
He later joined Hyde Energy Ltd, an oil and gas firm with operations in the downstream sector.
He held the position of a Sales Manager for three years. During his stay at Hyde Energy Ltd., he made record-breaking sales that opened up the Eastern markets for the company’s product.
As a result of his passion to help small business owners generate sales, he resigned from paid employment to venture into private coaching.
In the last one year, he has helped small business owners generate sales worth over NGN100,000,000. His mission is to help businesses, especially SMEs in Nigeria and Africa to close sales worth 10 million dollars, $10,000,000 in the next 10 years.
He is a certified communication strategist, passionate and experienced sales trainer, business consultant, a highly sought-after conference speaker, and a husband to the prettiest woman on earth.
